Parking in Galway

All on-street parking is now "pay and display". The hours of pay parking are set out on the dispenser machines or on street signs. Residents permits are available, from your local county council, to individuals who live within a disc parking zone.
Hours of paid Parking are from 8:30am to 6:30pm.

Charges are as follows;

Up to 30 mins €1.30; 1 Hour €2.60; 2 Hours = MAX STAY €5.20

Disabled Access and Facilities

Permits for disabled drivers are available from the Irish Wheelchair Association on application. Persons with a Disabled Parking Permit may park free in disc parking zones provided the vehicle has displayed thereon a valid Disabled Persons Parking Permit.
